Short Information: Dockyard Apprentice School, Naval Dockyard Mumbai has invited online applications for Apprenticeship Training in 32 designated trades under Advt. No. DAS (MBI)/APP/IT-28. A total of 283 apprentice vacancies are announced — 277 for ITI trades and 6 for non-ITI trades (Crane Operator Overhead and Rigger). The notification is published in Employment News (3–9 October 2026); online registration opens on 07 October 2026 and closes on 27 October 2026 on apprenticeshipregistration.com. Eligibility
ITI Trades (30 trades, 277 posts): Candidate must have passed Class 10th with minimum 50% marks in relevant subjects, followed by ITI with minimum 50% aggregate (consolidated, all semesters) in the respective trade under NCVT or SCVT. ITI holders must apply only in their own trade or a corresponding NCVT-approved trade as per Schedule I of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Freshers are also eligible to apply as per the notification.
Crane Operator Overhead (3 posts): Minimum 50% aggregate in Class 10th (X Pass).
Rigger (3 posts): Minimum 50% aggregate in Class 8th (VIII Pass).
Candidature is accepted only provisionally; every claim will be verified with original documents at the document verification stage.
Selection Process
Naval Dockyard Mumbai Apprentice 2026 me chayan nimn charnon me hoga:
- Shortlisting – Class 10th aur ITI ke ankon ke aadhar par merit se (1:25 ke anupat me).
- Written Examination – OMR / CBT aadharit likhit pariksha.
- Medical Examination – chikitsa parikshan.
- Document Verification – mool dastavejon ka satyapan.
Negative Marking: Official notification me likhit pariksha ke liye negative marking ki koi yojana nirdisht nahi ki gayi hai — vistrit jaankari ke liye official notification avashya dekhen. Question Type: Objective-type likhit pariksha (OMR / CBT based).
Stipend: ₹9,600 per month (adhiktar trades); ₹8,200 per month (Crane Operator Overhead); ₹6,800 per month (Rigger). Training period trade ke anusar 1 saal se 2 saal tak.
