Short Information: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the Dummy Admit Card for the Vidyalaya Pustakalayadhyaksh Patrata Pariksha 2026, known as the Bihar Library Eligibility Test (BLET) 2026, on the official portal sletregistration.cbrt.co.in. Candidates who submitted the online form and paid the fee can download the dummy admit card from the afternoon of 02 November 2026 to 05 November 2026. Every candidate must check all printed details and correct any error online by 05 November 2026. No correction claim will be considered after the deadline. Bihar BLET 2026 Vacancy Details

Note BLET 2026 is an eligibility test, not a direct recruitment. Qualifying the test only makes a candidate eligible for the upcoming school librarian recruitment. Appointment will depend on the separate recruitment process to be notified later.

Bihar BLET Eligibility Criteria 2026

1. The candidate must be a resident of Bihar.
2. The candidate must hold a bachelor degree (graduation) with at least 45 percent marks from a recognized university.
3. The candidate must also hold a B.Lib (Bachelor of Library Science) degree.
4. 5 percent relaxation in the marks requirement is available for reserved category, women and PWD candidates.

Bihar BLET 2026 Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) Candidates appear in a single online written examination.
2. Question Type All questions are objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQ).
3. Total Questions and Marks 150 questions for 150 marks — Library Science 100 questions, General Knowledge 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark.
4. Duration 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes).
5. Negative Marking No negative marking — no marks are deducted for wrong answers.
6. Nature of Test BLET is a qualifying eligibility test. There is no interview stage for the eligibility test itself.
