Short Information: The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has declared the EMRS Tier-2 Result 2026 on 25 September 2026 for the posts of Female Staff Nurse, Hostel Warden (Female) and Hostel Warden (Male). Candidates who appeared in the Tier-II examination held on 24 March 2026 can now check their result on the official result portal by logging in with their application details. Along with the result, NESTS has also activated the link to download the scanned image of the OMR answer sheet. Candidates shortlisted in Tier-II will next be called for Document Verification, the schedule of which will be announced separately on nests.tribal.gov.in.

• Maximum Age: 35 years (for Hostel Warden & Female Staff Nurse)
• Age relaxation applicable for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Vacancy Details

These posts are part of the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2025), which covers 7,267 teaching and non-teaching vacancies in Eklavya Model Residential Schools across India.

Eligibility

• Hostel Warden: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc (Nursing) or GNM diploma with valid registration; only female candidates are eligible.
• Candidates must have fulfilled all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of the online application.

Selection Process

• Tier-I Examination — objective-type screening test. Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for every wrong answer.
• Tier-II Examination — OMR-based test of 100 marks (3 hours): 40 objective MCQs (1 mark each, 1/3rd negative marking per wrong answer) + 15 descriptive questions (60 marks, no negative marking).
• Document Verification — shortlisted candidates produce original certificates for verification.
• Final selection is based on Tier-II performance, subject to successful document verification.
