Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for July 2026 session admission to 30 September 2026. This is the fourth extension (31 July → 16 August → 31 August → 15 September → 30 September), announced on 16 September 2026. The extension covers fresh admission as well as re-registration for all notified programmes in ODL and Online mode.

Documents Required
- Active email ID and mobile number (OTP-verified at registration).
- APAAR ID is mandatory.
- Scanned photograph and signature, educational mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable).
- Fee payment through net banking, debit/credit card or UPI.
How to Apply for IGNOU Admission 2026
- Visit the admission portal: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in (ODL) or ignouiop.samarth.edu.in (online programmes).
- Complete New Registration with your email and mobile number.
- Select the programme along with the regional centre and study centre.
- Fill in personal and academic details.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the fee online and submit the form; download the confirmation.
- For re-registration, use onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.
