Short Information: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has invited online applications from meritorious sportspersons for 126 posts of Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota (vacancy year 2025). Applications can be submitted through the official recruitment portal from 03 October 2026 to 01 November 2026. Eligibility
- Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognised board.
- Must be a meritorious sportsperson — participated in or won medals at international, national, inter-university or Khelo India events in one of the notified disciplines between 01/01/2024 and 01/11/2026.
- Male and female Indian citizens are eligible.
- This quota is not open to persons with benchmark disabilities or ex-servicemen.
Selection Process

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Sports Trial — 40 marks, minimum 20 marks to qualify; final merit is prepared purely on sports achievement marks
- Certificate Verification
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
