Subject-wise Syllabus
1. Basic Mathematics: Number system, percentages, averages, ratio and proportion, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, time and work, time and distance, mensuration and data interpretation at matriculation level.
2. Basic Reasoning: Analogies, coding and decoding, number and alphabet series, direction sense, blood relations, syllogisms, statement and conclusion, non-verbal reasoning and logical puzzles.
3. Basic English: Comprehension passages, error spotting, fill in the blanks, synonyms and antonyms, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution and basic grammar rules.
4. General Awareness and Science: Current affairs of national and Jammu and Kashmir importance, Indian history and culture, geography, polity, economy, general science, environmental studies and static GK.
Selection Process
The selection for JKSSB Class-IV and Sanitation Worker posts will be completed in the following stages:
- Written Examination (OMR-based, objective-type MCQs with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
