No. LWD(HQ)/MCD/2026/D-180 dated 24/09/2026 for engagement of 09 Labour Welfare Superintendents on a contract basis. Candidates holding a Graduation Degree along with a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Social Work, Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management or an allied subject can apply offline. Eligibility

• Essential: Graduation Degree from a recognized University.
• Essential: Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management, or in any other allied subject.
• Desirable: Degree in Law, or relevant experience in Labour Welfare fields.

Selection Process

There is no written examination for this engagement. Selection will be based on the following, in order:

1. Marks weightage in Secondary Level – 20%
2. Marks weightage in Senior Secondary Level – 20%
3. Marks weightage in Graduation – 20%
4. Marks weightage in Post Graduation – 20%
5. Interview performance marks
6. Document Verification
7. Medical Examination

Negative marking: No negative marking (there is no written question paper in this selection, so negative marking does not apply). Question type: Not applicable – selection is through academic weightage plus interview.

Remuneration: Initial pay at Level-7 – Rs. 44,900 + Variable DA (7th CPC).
