Short Information: The High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur has announced 418 posts of Stenographer Grade-II, Stenographer Grade-III, Stenographer Grade-III (Court Manager Staff) and Assistant Grade-III (English Knowing) under Advertisement No. 666/Exam/2026. Every candidate first appears in an Online Preliminary Examination of 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks, and then in a Hindi / English Stenography Skill Test of 100 marks. The final merit is prepared only on the skill test marks — the preliminary examination works purely as a screening round.

All 100 questions are objective multiple-choice type, 1 mark each, with a total duration of 120 minutes. The question paper is bilingual (Hindi and English); the General Hindi section is in Hindi and the English and Computer Knowledge sections are in English. The advertisement does not prescribe any negative marking in this examination.

Candidates about five times the number of posts qualify from the preliminary examination for the skill test. Minimum qualifying marks in the skill test are 55% for UR and OBC, 45% for SC, 40% for ST and PwD, and 49.5% for EWS candidates.
