A total of 67 vacancies have been announced for Sports Person posts in Pay Matrix Level-1 to Level-5, with initial basic pay ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹29,200 per month. Eligibility
- Level 5 / Level 4 posts: Graduation degree from a recognised university, plus recognised sports achievement in the concerned discipline.
- Level 3 / Level 2 posts: 12th (+2 stage) pass, OR Matriculation with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI certificate (for technical categories), plus recognised sports achievement.
- Level 1 posts: 10th pass, OR ITI, OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT, plus recognised sports achievement.
- Sports achievements must be at a recognised national, state or university level as per the norms prescribed in the official notification.
- Only applications submitted online through rrcmas.in will be accepted; physical/offline applications will not be entertained.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2027)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Candidates must have been born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2009 (both dates inclusive)
- No upper or lower age relaxation is permissible for any category (as stated in the official notification)
Selection Process
- Sports Trials — game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation: 40 marks
- Assessment of recognised sports achievements: 50 marks
- Educational qualification: 10 marks
Candidates are evaluated out of a total of 100 marks. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a Medical Examination and Document Verification as per Railway rules.
