Eligibility
Army Wing. Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 examination from any recognized board in India.
Air Force and Naval Wings. Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized board in India.
Selection Process
Stage 1 — Written Examination. Objective type papers — Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks), held on 13 September 2026. Candidates who score above the qualifying cut-off are shortlisted for the SSB interview.
Stage 2 — SSB Interview. Two-stage Services Selection Board interview (psychological tests, group tasks and personal interview).
Stage 3 — Medical Examination for candidates recommended by the SSB.
There is negative marking in the written examination — one-third (1/3rd) of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for every wrong answer: Mathematics −0.83 marks per wrong answer, General Ability Test −1.33 marks per wrong answer. Marks are not deducted for unattempted questions.
