Short Information: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has declared the Mains Result of the Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) and Wildlife Guard (Vanya Jeev Rakshak) recruitment under Advt 12-Exam/2026 on 03/10/2026. A total of 708 posts are on offer and the Mains examination was held on 27/09/2026. As many as 19,692 candidates, shortlisted on the basis of their PET-2025 score, appeared in the Mains exam. Candidates figuring in the merit list will now proceed to the PST/PMT (Physical Standard/Measurement Test) stage.

Eligibility
The candidate must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board and must hold a valid UP PET 2025 scorecard.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting on the basis of PET-2025 score — 19,692 candidates were called for the Mains exam.
- Mains Written Exam held on 27/09/2026 — objective type paper with 100 questions carrying 100 marks, to be solved in 2 hours. Each correct answer earns 1 mark and 0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer (negative marking). The paper covers Hindi & Writing Ability along with General Knowledge / General Intelligence.
