No. 26-Exam/2026 for the Combined Lower Subordinate Services Main Examination 2026 for 1784 posts, including Village Development Officer, Social Welfare Supervisor, Commercial Tax Collection Amin, Land Amin and other posts. Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and hold its score card can apply for this Mains exam, and shortlisting for Mains will be done on the basis of the PET 2025 normalized score. 1. Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) passed from any recognized board / institute in India.

2. PET 2025: Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and hold its score card can apply for this Mains examination.

3. Post-wise Extra Conditions: For Village Development Officer posts, a CCC certificate in Computer from NIELIT (formerly DOEACC) is also required. For Farm Clerk, at least 3 years of experience in agriculture work is required, and for Salesperson, at least 3 years of experience in sales work in a Government / Semi-Government department is required. Candidates should check the official notification for the post-wise conditions of their post.

4. Preferential Qualification: For some posts, preference is given to candidates with Territorial Army service of at least 2 years, NCC ‘B’ certificate, or a rural background, as per the service rules given in the notification.

1. PET 2025 Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Mains examination on the basis of their normalized score in UPSSSC PET 2025.

2. Mains Written Examination: One objective-type (multiple choice) question paper of 100 questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark.

3. Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1/4 mark (0.25 mark) will be deducted.

4. Exam Syllabus: The paper has three parts — Part 1 covers Indian History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Rural Society, Current Events, Science and Technology, Environment, Data Interpretation and General Hindi (65 marks), Part 2 covers Computer and Information Technology (15 marks), and Part 3 covers Uttar Pradesh related General Knowledge (20 marks).

5. Mains Exam Fee: The Mains examination fee, if any, will be paid separately by shortlisted candidates before downloading the Mains admit card, as per the notification.
