Short Information: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the admit card for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 on 15/10/2026 under Advt No 16-Exam/2026. Vacancy Details
UPSSSC PET 2026 is a qualifying eligibility test. No separate posts are notified under Advt No 16-Exam/2026. Candidates who qualify in PET become eligible to apply for Group B and Group C posts that UPSSSC notifies later.
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed High School (Class 10) from a recognized board, or hold any higher qualification from a recognized university or institution.
Selection Process
Selection is through a written examination on OMR sheet, followed by a merit list and document verification. The paper has 100 objective (MCQ) questions for 100 marks with a 2 hour duration, conducted offline in bilingual Hindi and English mode. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

5. Download the admit card and take a clear printout to carry to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID.
