Short Information: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the exam city intimation slip for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026. Candidates who registered under Advt No 16-Exam/2026 can now see which city has been allotted for their written examination. The PET written exam will be held on 25 October, 30 October and 1 November 2026 in two shifts each day. The city slip can be checked on the official website upsssc.gov.in by logging in with the registration number and date of birth. This slip shows only the exam city. The exact exam centre and shift timing will be printed on the admit card, which will be released a few days before the examination.

Vacancy Details
UPSSSC PET 2026 is a qualifying eligibility test. No separate posts are notified under this advertisement. Candidates who qualify PET become eligible to apply for Group B and Group C posts notified later by UPSSSC.
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed High School (Class 10) from any recognized board, or hold any higher qualification from a recognized university.
Selection Process
Written Exam (OMR) → Merit List → Document Verification
Question type: 100 objective (MCQ) questions, 100 marks, 2 hours, offline OMR sheet, bilingual Hindi and English.
Negative marking: 0.25 mark deducted for every wrong answer.
