Short Information: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for Senior Instructor (Jyeshtha Anudeshak Cadre) recruitment under Advt. No. 21-Exam/2026. A total of 132 vacancies will be filled in the Rajya Gramya Vikas Sansthan, BKT, Lucknow. Online applications are open from 14 September 2026 to 05 October 2026 on upsssc.gov.in. Selection will be through UP PET 2025 score-based shortlisting, followed by a main written examination, document verification and medical examination.

Eligibility

A valid UP PET 2025 scorecard is mandatory for every discipline. Shortlisting will be done on the basis of the UP PET 2025 normalized score, category-wise, at 15 times the number of vacancies.

• Plant Protection: M.Sc. in Plant Protection / Botany / Entomology / Zoology
• Horticulture: M.Sc. in Horticulture
• Animal Husbandry: PG in Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science
• Agronomy: M.Sc. in Agronomy
• Women Welfare: PG in Home Science / Sociology / Social Work / Nutrition
• Cooperation: M.A. (Economics) / M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) / M.Com with minimum 50% marks
• Panchayat: M.A. (Economics / Sociology) / M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) with minimum 50% marks
• Soil Science: B.Sc. Agriculture with minimum 50% marks
• Agricultural Extension: M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension
• Public Health: M.P.H. or PG in Rural Development
• Production: B.Sc. Agriculture with minimum 50% marks
• Agriculture: PG in Agriculture

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting on UP PET 2025 normalized score (15 times category-wise vacancies).
2. Main Written Examination – single objective-type paper of 100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours:
   • Part 1 – Subject-Specific Knowledge (Rural Development) & Analytical / Data Interpretation: 65 questions / 65 marks
   • Part 2 – Computer & IT Concepts: 15 questions / 15 marks
   • Part 3 – General Information related to Uttar Pradesh: 20 questions / 20 marks

   Negative marking of 1/4th mark (25%) for every wrong answer.

3. Document Verification of original certificates.
4. Medical Examination as per UPSSSC standards.

Pay Scale: Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-).
